The Deputy Governor of Baghdad, Mr. Ali Ahmed Al-Ithawi, stressed their readiness, through the Women’s Empowerment Department and in cooperation with the Sawtha Network, to implement activities that support women’s issues, especially those related to education due to its apparent impact on the volume and quality of political participation, in addition to its essential roles in promoting societal peace.
The meeting concluded with the Southa Network being honoured by the Women’s Empowerment Department on International Women’s Day.
