أهداف اليوم الدولي للمسنين 2023:

زيادة المعرفة والوعي بالإعلان العالمي لحقوق الإنسان والتزام جميع أصحاب المصلحة لتعزيز حماية حقوق الإنسان للأجيال الحالية والمقبلة من المسنيين في جميع أنحاء العالم.

تبادل النماذج المشتركة بين الأجيال والتعلم منها لحماية حقوق الإنسان في جميع أنحاء العالم.

دعوة الحكومات وكيانات الأمم المتحدة إلى مراجعة ممارساتها الحالية بهدف تحسين إدماج نهج يشمل حقوق الإنسان على مدى الحياة في عملها، وضمان المشاركة النشطة والهادفة لجميع أصحاب المصلحة، بما في ذلك المجتمع المدني والمؤسسات الوطنية لحقوق الإنسان والمسنيين أنفسهم، في العمل على تعزيز التضامن بين الأجيال والشراكات بين الأجيال.

🔹 Objectives of the International Day of Older People 2023 :
Increase knowledge and awareness of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the commitment of all stakeholders to strengthen the protection of human rights for current and future generations of people around the world.
🔹 Share and learn from intergenerational models for protecting human rights worldwide.
Calling on Governments and United Nations entities to review their current practices to better integrate a life-course human rights approach into their work and ensure the active and meaningful participation of all stakeholders, including civil society, national human rights institutions and older people themselves, in working to strengthen intergenerational solidarity and partnerships Between generations.
