has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Promoting Biodiversity in Iraq.<br>The Together for a Better Life Foundation for Human and Community Development participated in a workshop.<br>As part of Iraq&#8217;s ongoing efforts to conserve and restore its rich biodiversity, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Iraq is supporting the Iraqi government, represented by the Ministry of Environment, in formulating its national biodiversity targets, in line with the Global Biodiversity Framework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background wp-block-paragraph\">Under the umbrella of the Global Biodiversity Framework, UNDP also supported the development of a new project aimed at integrating biodiversity considerations into spatial planning. This project focuses specifically on strengthening efforts to conserve and protect urban biodiversity in central Iraq.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-very-light-gray-to-cyan-bluish-gray-gradient-background has-background wp-block-paragraph\">This initiative represents a key step in consolidating Iraq&#8217;s commitment to conserving
